The Star Wars Model Project

Well, I've been working on my other baby, SWAG, for a while now, building this new module for drupal. I need to give it a really good trial run in a place with less traffic so here it is, this is largely a test and I'll just be using test images for that purpose.

So, here I am, saying how I'm going to update the site more, and then what... 2 years go by? Heh, so learned a lot in those 2 years. I'm STILL working on the clawcraft (heh), but have some GREAT images to show. I guess this is clawcraft 5.0... ish? Something along those lines. I got some serious details from Jeff Carlisle this year on what the details of the ship should look like, and I'm really happy with the results.

In keeping with my ideals that I would be updating more often, here are two more pics of the new Chiss clawcraft model.

Well, I've been promising myself that I'd be updating the site more often. That of course hasn't really happened. I'm working on some different updates that could make my life easier when it comes to updating the site. Also working on a new look and feel. Most importantly, I have a new clawcraft to show off... a couple of them.

I'm not gonna create a whole new page for them just yet. When I finish the current work, I'll create an archive page for all the different version of the clawcraft that I've created (4 thus far).

Well, as promised by my last post, I'm now married. It's really really great. I'd suggest it to anyone who's serious about commitment and who's willing to take on the responsibility of ALWAYS communicating. It's good stuff.

On a different note, I believe I'm going to Gencon. Gonna go around trying to sell my abilities to all the art directors there. We'll see what happens, cross your fingers and pray folks.

The Final Republic Peace Defender model is up. I know it's been nearly 2 months since I said I'd put it up, but 'HEY!' I'm getting married soon, so I have more important stuff to do. :-p

I think I finally have some direction for this site. Up until now this website has been focussed on recreating all the ships of the starwars universe that already exist. As great an idea as this is (and it's one I'd like to pick back up at some point) I think there might be greater endevors. *laughs* in place of this endevor, I've decided to do my best to give some life to the ships that are really missing from the EGVV. I've started that with my completion of the Ssi Ruuvi V'sett starfighter. (which WILL be up TODAY!

Cheers?... Cheers? I said Cheers at the end of my last post... obviously I've been haning out with my British friends a little too much. Well, that's what I get for joining SWAG. :-) can't complain any, it's been one of the best experiences of my life. I've started drawing again. Which hopefully will mean that I can actually get to a point where my drawing are worth seeing again. hehehe.

Oh how the time flies! Many updates need to be done, and many more are on the way after them. :-) First off, the Republic Peace Defender for Moridin is done. I will update that page in the next day or two. Secondly, I'd like to let everyone know that my webpage seems to be getting more and more traffic. This is obviously pleasing to me. So in the spirit of keeping my fans/visitors updated, I'd like to let you all know a few things.

Well, the new clawcraft model is up for everyone's viewing pleasure. I'm quite happy with how it turned out. I REALLY wish I could texture better. I AM however getting better w/ textures. Slowly but surely. Anyway, yeah, go check out the new clawcraft and let me know what you think.
